I'll probably be groggy a year from now, waking from a late night party with a few of my friends. Hopefully It won't involve all the cliched things that go on these things normally, but apparently though I'll be the guest of honor, it's not up to me.
I'll be fumbling as I put on my shirt, and breeches. Shaking a little in worry and anticipation. Maybe I'll even be scared out of my mind. I'll probably still have a hard time sliding on my leather boots and buttoning up my jerkin. Maybe one of my friends will help out.
My father will be sure to try to give me some last minute advice. My Brothers will be joking and jabbing at eachother and me as I've grown used to.
They'll probably offer me something for breakfast, I still don't know if I'll be able to eat a year from today and even if I do, I'll be too nervous to want to eat a big meal. . .
I'd be alright if she was near me, I'd calm down . . . but tradition and all.
Who knows a year from now who'll be driving and where we'll be leaving from.
I'm sure I'll shiver in fear, regardless to whatever temperature it is but one thing certain. I will not back away. I'll stand where I'm told, I'll abide and I'll commit to her for the rest of my life.
I don't know exactly what will happen a year from today, but her and I will marry . . . And that's the one thing I'm going to hold on to for the remaining 365 days.
So, A year left and what's done?
